We are fundraising to save all of our missions.
Advocates for Homeless & Those in Need (AHTN) helps the homeless and those in need in Lower Bucks County. To raise the funds needed to run our four missions, we hold fundraising events; send out direct mail campaigns to houses of worship, banks, volunteers and donors; and write a lot of grants.
We are currently trying to raise enough money to make up for a gap in our funding due to a loss of a grantor, who has been so gracious the past several years.
AHTN Missions:- Code Blue - Church shelter for the homeless from Dec. 1-March 31 when temperatures plummet.
- Wheels to Meals - Transportation to 35 different houses of worship for a hot meal and socialization almost every day of the year.
- Rejuvenation Station - Transportation to a church for a shower, haircut & shave, lunch and clothing once a month.
- Those in Need - Resources and funding to help those on the verge of homelessness. This includes emergency shelter; move-in costs; rental assistance; prescriptions; eye exams and glasses; car repairs; and transportation to mental health and doctor's appointments; thrift stores; food pantries; drug court and the laundromat.
