Raising funds to get AHTN bus & van repaired
On April 25, AHTN's van and bus were vandalized in the middle of the night. It breaks our hearts that these vehicles could not be used to transport the homeless and those in need to the community's free shared meals. The vandals put sand in the gas tank, so it had to be towed to Bertrand's for repairs. They smashed both side mirrors and both wipers were ripped apart. They dented the van with our AHTN sign.
Our newer white handicap bus had damage to the passenger door, the side mirrors were smashed and the bike rack was bent totally down to the ground.
We need to install security cameras on Emmaus Road Church that will point to our buses with a sign indicating that there is surveillance. We need to purchase locking gas caps so no one can tamper with the gas tank.
